Radon Gas Testing & Mitigation Services in Winnipeg
Radon gas is the number one cause of lung cancer in non-smokers in Canada. 1 in 4 homes in Manitoba have high radon gas levels. Is your home safe?
Two Steps to a Radon-Safe Home
Step 1: Test
We test your home’s Radon gas levels with certified test kits. We can do an immediate test that will give a reading in 15 minutes to give you a quick indication of risk or a long term test that measures over a 3 to 12 month period.
Step 2: Mitigate
If your levels are high, we will install a system designed specifically for your home that will remove Radon gas and lower your levels immediately. We will follow up with a short term test.

“I really didn’t know a lot about radon when a neighbour recommended I get my place tested. I bought a kit online and found that we had over 367 Bq after testing for 3 months. Honestly, hiring Lindsay was a great move. He made me feel a lot better about the situation and after everything, we can now rest easy knowing we’ve taken care of it.”

FAQs
-
Radon is an invisible, odorless gas that seeps into homes from the ground. Long-term exposure is the #1 cause of lung cancer after smoking. Manitoba has some of the highest radon levels in Canada, (1 in 4 homes), which makes testing especially important for Winnipeg families.
-
The only way to know is to test. Even two homes side by side can have completely different radon levels. Our testing is free during Radon Awareness Month so there’s no cost to find out.
-
Testing is free, and mitigation is a one-time solution that costs less than many common home projects. We’ll give you a clear price upfront, no surprises.
-
You’re not alone. Many homeowners don’t know about radon because it’s invisible and symptoms take years to appear. That’s exactly why Health Canada and local organizations run Radon Awareness Week every November; to help families like yours take action early.
-
If your test shows radon levels higher than Health Canada requirements, we’ll design and install a custom system that quickly reduces radon and keeps it down long-term. You’ll see a clear before-and-after reading, so you can feel confident your home is safe.
